I love this little hidden gem. I love that salsa bar and the chips. The staff is super friendly. And always really good food. My favorite is the chicken tostada. But I recently just had the shrimp burrito, and it was fabulous! If you want some really good mexican food in sacramento I advise you to try this place.

Originally went to Bargain World but ended up next door at this taco spot instead. The chile colorado taco took first place among all of the food we ordered Super nice staff. Free chips and salsa bar was a plus!

Such a good hole in the wall!! Food came out so fast and everything was so good. Definitely an older building a little ran down but I think any good Mexican food comes from places that don't look that pretty. Support local and get some delicious food!

We were in this parking lot to go to the international store next door and couldn't resist walking into this taqueria, I mean who can pass up a taco when you're hungry? We walked into not knowing if they did take out and were amazed with how many tables were there. We were equally happy to see that you had to order at the counter so we knew we could get takeout. The decor of the taqueria was very traditional Hispanic with the exception of TVs playing Mexican soccer but we enjoy the quiet here just fine. The place was quite empty so we were able to walk straight to the counter and order our food. I asked the very nice cashier what she thought their most flavorful meats were and she said the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada. Well you don't have to tell me twice because I love a steak burrito just as much as the next gringo! I ordered a Super Burrito with carne asada. My wife went a little insane and got a vegetarian burrito...but honestly they can be quite tasty at a good taqueria. My in laws ordered 4 tacos with pollo asada, carne asada and al pastor. Sweeet!!!! I got to try the other recommended meat. We loaded up at the salsa bar and what did I discover??? My FAVORITE salsa that I can't ever find....salsa de repollo (cabbage salsa). I tasted it and found it to be just as good as my favorite taqueria in the world which happens to be in Modesto (Taqueria San Jose). We also discovered an amazing salsa verde that u haven't had elsewhere. It has a lovely acidic flavor from the tomatillos but rich in flavor. Chips were fresh and crispy without oil saturation. Our food was brought to us rather quickly and OMG was it amazing. This was the most flavorful carne asada burrito I have ever had. Can you imagine my happiness if knowing I only have to drive 25 minutes to get my favorite burrito over the 1 hr 45 minutes to Modesto????? I took a bite of all of my in-laws tacos and was blown away by the powerful flavor in their al pastor and I'm a HuGE fan of Chando's Al Pastor. Their pollo asada was also amazingly juicy and flavorful so I'm betting the taxi salad would be fantastic...I'll find out eventually. I can't recommend this taqueria enough. Friendly staff and the best taqueria food you'll find anywhere...right here in Sacramento. I know that my wife and I will be making the drive from Folsom REGULARLY!!! PS The vegetarian burrito was superb...equally the best I've had and my wife agrees PPS I took a 32oz souvenir of salsa de repollo home with me. :-)

Here again for our favorite late night meal with the hubby, at La Soga, this time I had the Beef Fajita and it was super delicious, it was brought out of the table and it was sizzling. It was so good! My husband had the Giant Quesadilla he knows what he likes when it comes to food. The people that work there are great, they're friendly and welcoming. Also, a shout out to the great cooks in the back!!
